    I have to agree; the fault lies with the web designers, who have assumed that no one could possibly want to use an updated browser or a non-proprietary machine. It is a disgrace when they do not comply with standards.

    I see that they also want to force you to enable pop-ups, which most modern browsers (including Internet Explorer 9) disable by default.

    Unfortunately, that leaves you in pickle. Do speak to designers and ask them to fix it. In the meantime, you'll have to use Windows with a lower security setting in your browser.

    EDIT: You could try installing Internet Explorer using PlayOnLinux. It may work.

    EDIT 2: I have never heard of ChrUbuntu. I'm trying to find the website, but Google doesn't give it to me.
