    Wink Install app

I downloaded an application called Shotcut which is not offered in the software center. When I extract it with Archive Manager, it only is a folder with 3 other folders: bin, lib, and share plus 3 docs of unknown type.

What should I do to install this?

    Thanks for your help-

    Re: Install app

What is in the folder called bin? Is there a binary file? What happens when you right click on the binary file and select open with Ubuntu Software Centre?

    Regards.

False alarm, I found the executable inside the main directory and it works A.O.K.

    Thanks for help and interest.
