    I'm no expert:

AFAIK there is no gnome ubuntu spin. I guess if it existed it would be called Gubuntu.

I have installed it to try it out. It is present in the ubuntu repositories and works just fine. You can install it easily and have a try. Switching back and forth between unity/KDE/Gshell/etc. is very easy. All you need is some harddrive space.

    Try it!

Has everyone been living under a rock or something?!?!

Gnome-Ubuntu does exist but is not recognized as an official Ubuntu release.

If its not official I don't think I want to use it I will just install gnome in ubuntu and set it to boot default .
I like to know its getting proper updates and a fourm to talk about issues and such.

    Thanks for the help
