launcher icons will be resizable down to 8 px

I gather some wanted to to be able to resize below 32, the next unity update will allow down to 8, must be set in ccsm to go below 32
screen is 15 on 13" screen

I'd really like that with a never-hide launcher ...... good move

This is a feature I really wanted in Unity for some time, even at the smallest size the launcher is still a tad too big.
If I can get it down to 20px I will be fine with it.

My Netbook only has a 10 inch screen so I hope this update does not cause any problems with older hardware. It was manufactured in 2010.

If you know you downloaded the icon update then you will have to reboot to load it.

They should be able to enable 8 > 64 in the Appearances panel, maybe they will maybe not.
