AMD Radeon HD 6620G - Best Driver?
I was wondering what is the best driver for the AMD Radeon HD 6620G. I am currently running 12.04. I am currently using whatever the default settings were when I installed Ubuntu (clean install). Things to be running okay, however, there are a few "buggy" issues. For example, when I log in, the screen is momentarily garbled, but it fixes itself within a few seconds. Also, sometimes, the screen won't "wake up" when I wake up my computer.
There is the FGLRX driver that shows up in the "additional drivers" menu which I haven't tried, but I am afraid of ending up with no screen or the low graphics mode. Please advise. There is also the control catalyst available on the ati website, but I wasn't sure if that included any drivers.
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you all!

With ATI it's always a roulette. With 6xxx family you can try the "additional driver" which should give you the most power, although I can't guarantee it will work at all (ATI's thing...).
