Libre Office text disappearing

I am using Ubuntu 12.10. When typing in libre office the text occasionally disappears or flashes, generally a paragraph or two. If I scroll and click a bit it returns.
I believe that it could be due to my graphics card, the GeForce GTX 480, which as far as I know is unsupported. I'm using X.Org driver from the alternative
drivers tab in the software sources settings.

What version of LO are you using? I'm thinking it's a bug, because I've seen it often on 3 different machines with 3 different types of cards and 3 different operating systems.

I'll try to install the newest LO on all 3 said machines to see if it's still happening.
