Dual Boot Partitioning Using GParted (1TB SATA HDD and 8GB SSD)

I'm trying to figure out how to allocate ~80% of disk space to Ubuntu 12.10 and ~20% to Windows but after installation, it seems like I only have ~177 GB volume on both Ubuntu and Windows when my HDD is 1TB...GParted shows multiple partitions (3 nfts though I understand one is on the SSD?) with one of them being very large but inaccessible and protected(key symbol)? I've included a screen cap of GParted showing the partitions. I'd like to get rid of/ optimize partitions and make Ubuntu my primary OS. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
