Ubuntu for Android and phones with good match.

Hey folks,

I've been an avid iOS user for a long time... had a love for a long time for anything that isn't Microsoft.. meaning Linux and MacOS/iOS.

Now.. my iPhone have served me nicely for a good while.. and I was considering upgrading to the iPhone 5... until I saw Ubuntu for Android... that just blew my mind.

So let me start out by asking.. is there ANY idea of when this will be made available for use?


Secondly.. I've been searching for phones suitable to be used fully with it - and as such I also mean proper performing hardware, and the ability to purchase a dock for the phone that holds HDMI+USB ports.

Currently the best performing that seems to be available that I've been able to find is Samsung Galaxy Note2... is there other quad core phones out there that matches it and has a dock as well?
