    external monitor freezes Ubuntu

I have an Asus eee pc 1215N, and have installed Ubuntu 12.10 64bits. This netbook come with with graphics Nvidia Optimus, it's works just fine with bumblebee. The problem is when I connect a external monitor with vga port or hdmi. In the first minutes everything ok, but after +-5 minutes, ubuntu freezes. Solution Hard Reset, what can I do.
    Thank you in advance

    Re: external monitor freezes Ubuntu

The latest Ubuntu 12.04.3 comes with nvidia optimus support out of the box with nvidia prime, these packages are the ones found in 13.10 Saucy and work quite well with multiple monitor. It also negates the need for Bumblebee as the nvidia driver handles the graphic unloading option directly. This has been a heavensent as multiple monitor and HDMI was a pain with Bumblebee previously. I would have a difficult time with my presentations in meetings and conferences.
