    Server cluster for single process

So, I want to make a server cluster so I can make a more powerful Bukkit Server (minecraft). I plan to use this article to do this, but I don't know If it will use the resources of all the computers in the cluster on the one minecraft process or if this cluster configuration is meant to just mediate processes to other machines. Please tell me if I'm not being clear. Also, if you have any other tips or knowledge on this subject, that would be much appreciated. Thank you

I am not sure if the Ubuntu article you posted will help. There is a forum thread attached to the Ubuntu project and, judging from the last posts

    http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.p...030849&page=49

there seems to be not much activity. Also, the software the article is based on (Kerrighed) seems to be inactive, since their last release is based on kernel 2.6.30.

    http://www.kerrighed.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

You should also check the Kerrighed FAQ section:

    http://www.kerrighed.org/wiki/index.php/FAQ

The software to be run on such a cluster has to fulfill certain requirements.

That kinda sucks.. Any ideas on what I could do as a replacement? I just need to be able to have I ton of computers dedicate their resources towards one process... Kind of like a super computer almost.

    Just an update:

I don't know what it does, but would OpenStack work?
