As I wrote in a thread I've mentioned above, I think more than once, that kind of gymnastics did not work for me at the time I had problems with cursor. You do not have to yell, I am old but I can hear OK...

this will be my last comment on this.

One theory of its origin is that it was a Latin exclamation of joy or for additional emphasis.

Even though I'm still on SS I'm using SS branch of Gnome-Next and Ricotz branches...
Question: Did anybody try to (re)solve gdm waiting (due to libgdm1 not ready to present itself to the world, i.e. dependencies are a bit wrong)? Did anyone try to purge libgdm and then install libgdm1 and gir1.1.2-gdm-1.0. Than would mean to purge also gdm, gnome-shell and gnome-shell-extensions but I'm not sure that I would be able to install them after that (with libdrm1 installed) since I am afraid that they have strict dependency on libdrm... Any ideas?

Booted to saucy today saw your post.
zika I have the same repos or ppa's as you do enabled, only diffrence is I am running 32bit (should be a non factor though)
Took the plunge today and everything went smoothly,

gnome-shell --version
GNOME Shell 3.11.2

The same icon & fonts blowouts acured & I only lost topicons on extensions.
Been playing with it for a couple of hours now, No show stopers yet.

Yes, I've exchanged couple of e-mails with Tim and Ricitz and everything went well couple of days ago. Everything is nice now in GS world... At least in SS neighborhood I live in...
