Thumbs down bluetooth pairs with my mouse but not my keyboard

    hi,

i am brand new with kubuntu but not general linux.

i am just getting my feet with plasma.

the first issue i have is my apple keyboard will not pair with my netbook running kubuntu 12.10. these two apple devices previously performed flawlessly under the most recent ubuntu distro.

it appears that i am using the bluedevil to manage these bluetooth connections. it has paired with my apple mighty mouse and seems to be handling that fine.

this part that hangs seems to be called "bluetooth device wizard",,,
the keyboard does show up when i try to add it but when i click on it in the bluedevil the keyboard row becomes highlighted but then the process to add it hangs and will go no further.

    please advise.

i was able to resolve this by using the Configure Bluetooth control panel under the bluetooth status icon in the system bar across the top of the screen.

it was somewhat arduous but it did connect after some trial-and-error.
