    Capturing Online Audio Stream

There are number of online radio stations that broadcast live audio stream, usually through some sort of pop-up player.

How do I capture and record this stream? What application would allow me to do this?

Thank you very much in advance.

Some of those can be captured pretty easily using VLC.
    In VLC, click on "Media"-"Convert-Save"
Then you choose your source, which can be a stream URL.
... Good luck. Sometimes the popup player ones are hard to capture for me. Straight-up streams are what I've done w/VLC.

Once you have found the direct address of the stream it should be pretty straightforward with either vlc (as Mr Alien has mentioned) or with MPlayer. Can you give an example of one such stream?
You think that's air you're breathing now?
