10.04 Help with Teamviewer

Installed version 7+ Teamviewer today and I seemed to get it.
Tried to transfer a file from desktop to laptop where
laptop address used was 192.xxx.x.xx. It gave an error
message to the effect that 'specified directory is not public'.
How to get around this?

As long as both pc's are using same version the remote machine needs to allow remote control and the rest is usually pretty straight forward?

Both pc's using same version Teamviewer but
desktop using 10.04 and laptop using 12.04.

According to an article published February 1, 2012
Teamviewer 7 does not support file transfer. What a
waste of time.
Will mark solved.
