webapps not working

i do know 13.04 is still in alpha(daily builds) but its far more stable than quantal ever was.
but ever since i installed ringtail on my pc, the webapps feature dosent work... there was no confirmation to install the first time I logged into gmail, nothing when I first hit youtube. I was ok with it for the last couple of days but now its a little boring and irritating
I just wanna have webapps back..how do I do it?

your best friend is called log(s) to find usefull warnings/errors
glance at /var/log/ & ~/.xsession-errors

be sure you have the required sources activated: canonical partner, restricted, universe, multiverse then the related packages. And at last, if you still need, check the community wikis.

I was about to delete the .mozilla config files after the last firefox 18 beta update. Have a new fresh mozilla firefox setup, maybe the webapps will work again. But then i read this post. Hmmm...maybe i should wait for the next firefox update? But, chromium unity webapps extension is working though, except for youtube webapps.
