A little while ago, I tried to install some updates through the update manager. Unfortunately, due my fragile internet connection, the updates didn't install correctly or download completely. Now, whenever I try to update, I get this message:
"Previous installation hasn't been completed
The installation could have failed because of an error in the corresponding software package or it was cancelled in an unfriendly way. You have to repair this before you can install or remove any further software.
E:Method has died unexpectedly!, E:Sub-process returned an error code (100),
E:Method /usr/lib/apt/methods/ did not start correctly"
I assume I have to clear the previous installation attempt, but I can't figure out how.
Also, I have only been using Ubuntu for three months, and do not have much experience with it.
