Red face Mozilla ceases Firefox 64-bit 4 Windows

    http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-575...news&tag=title

Does this news item from c|net have any implications for Ubuntu 64 bit users of FF?

    As per c|net:

Mozilla quietly ceases Firefox 64-bit development

Mozilla's engineering manager has requested that developers stop work on Windows 64-bit builds of Firefox.

I have been a Nightly 64 tester since FF 3.6 and have had none of the problems described.I won't be testing any more and removed nightly.

I kind of thought 64 bit was becoming more the norm because of the increasing amount of memory provided with OEM computers. I might continue with Linux. but two browsers is enough at the moment.
