I am about to build a new HTPC and want to install Ubuntu (or maybe even Mythbuntu).

I am going to use the ASRock B75M-DHS motherboard and take advantage of the HD on-board video - specs here: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/B75M-...Specifications

However I am concerned about this message:

Due to chipset limitation, the Blu-ray playback of Intel® HD Graphics is only supported under Windows® Vista™ and Windows® 7.
Does this mean if I install a Blu-ray player, I won't be able to take advantage of on-board 1080p graphics?

I am also concerned about these further warnings:

*Intel® Rapid Start Technology and Smart Connect Technology are only supported under Windows® 7 OS or later versions.
Intel® InTru™ 3D is only supported under Windows® 7 and Windows® 7 x64.
The last time I used Ubuntu was about 6 years ago, and it was the lack of support for hardware that made me go back to Windows. This time I building a machine *to* run Ubuntu - so I want to make sure that I can get the most of this motherboard. Please advise.
