Drawing block diagrams and schemes for LateX

I would like to find some program to draw block diagrams and schemes that can be easily used/imported in LateX.
Until now, I have used the TikZ graphic library, but sometimes it takes too much time to draw simple black diagrams. Moreover, I prefer to actually see what I am drawing.

One of the pros of TikZ is the possibility to use LateX code, for instance to write formulae. So, if possible, I would like to find a program that allow the insertion of snippets of LateX code.

    Thank you
    Oooohhhhh!!!!!

Use Inkscape, a vector drawing program that exports vector PDFs.
