3.8 is going to be critical.

Baked in support of the power-switching half of Nouveau Optimus.

    Nice!

I totally borked my 13.04 desktops (linux 3.6.6 & 3.7-rc4 -- Unity & GS), this morning, by installing "caffeine-indicator" in Raring. I even killed LightDM. LoL!

    Thank heavens for "ppa-purge"!

I'll see if I can break it again with 3.7.0-0...

    EDIT

    Works on my LegacyStein machine.

    Code:
    vindsl@Zuul:~$ uname -sr
    Linux 3.7.0-0-generic
Er... we're not supposed to be using 'raring-proposed' or are we?!?!?

I'm probably going to sticks with 12.10+PPAs until the first major breakage passes. Gonna be a bit more conservative this cycle.

I have a separate /home, but these breakages tend to hit at the worst possible times.

Haven't seen much with the installs vs. the apt-source raring change. I do run 2 partitions and alternate updates/installs since things do break.

So far, apt-cache search linux-image hasn't turned up anything past 3.5.0-17 here in the States. Patience, Hortense.

Thanks Philinux. That link is about bang-on (current) where we are at right now. I noted that Leanna expresses much appreciation for our (community) crack testing. Nice to hear.

I'm just north of you ... using the Main Server .repos /proposed/Canonical partners/ enabled.
