With this project being barely one week old it shouldn’t surprise you to learn than a number of features and functions aren’t yet working. These include:
Wow they got a lot done in a week O.o

Yea I've been trying it today.
It seems to work well enough but not sure of the point (apart from the "just because" argument) since the it loses the benefits of being a trimmed down OS since it's running on top of ubuntu.

However, it is a great testbed for those thinking of getting a Chromebook and want to try before they buy.
I have used the hexxeh builds quite a bit and this one running on ubuntu is a bit more usable for testing I would say.

Works only with 64 bit Ubuntu - you can install it in Ubuntu 32 bit but then ChromeOS won't run.

I tried ChomeOS (hexxeh build) for a while and the whole thing seemed pointless. Its only real value as far as I was concerned was as an exercise to see if it could be done.

After using it for sometime, I agree with you.

Maybe its better to try ChromeOS this way, safer and in a USB pen.

It can run on a USB flash drive but it lacks a GUI interface installer. When install is launched from the terminal- it complains only a USB drive exists!

You think it would be able to detect all associated disks!
