Hey, a while ago at MWC 2012, Ubuntu on Android was talked about, and it looked very, very, very nice, but I haven't come across much news since then, and the only results that keep coming up were hundreds of websites dedicated on the Ubuntu on Nexus7 device which isn't exectly the same. Just wondering if anyone else has come across much about it since then? Last time I believe they were looking for partners, like OEMs & Carriers, is there any news on that? Here is the video that I'm referring to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1zV_Cv1JoQ

I haven't heard too much news about it recently, but I did come across this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gd43m08d-ro
I haven't heard much either. I've been waiting and watching for a while now. I was really optimistic that the Asus padfone 2 would be the first to feature ubuntu for android but no luck there. Can't wait for this to be released so I can finally buy a new phone.
Some more about the Nexphone idea: http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2012/09/i...th-donating-to
