    transmission and qbittorrent uninstall issues

First time poster, long time reader...

my friend is a straight ubuntu user and doesnt have this problem. I recently switched to Lubuntu and am loving it. My issue is, is that I use deluge and dont want other torrent clients on my computer. Transmission comes bundled with Lubuntu. However, when I uninstall Transmission, Qbittorrent automatically installs. When I uninstall Qbittorrent, Transmission reinstalls. Can anyone help me get rid of both these programs so I can only have deluge?

Thanks to all who lend a hand.

This may be a glitch like the Chromium/Firefox one. In 12.04 which had Chromium installed by default, Chromium could not be uninstalled without installing Firefox. Recommend that you install whatever torrent program you want before trying to uninstall the default one.

    Rex,

Thank you for the reply; However, I installed Deluge and tried to uninstall the other Torrent clients to no avail.

Is there any other actions I can take to rectify this?

    Thanks,
