Thanks for that example. I was able to find a similar entry in kern.log.1 that read:
Code:
Oct 22 15:45:39 servername kernel: [ 2.153368] EXT4-fs (dm-0): mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. Opts: (null)
Oct 22 15:45:39 servername kernel: [ 9.556480] EXT4-fs (dm-0): re-mounted. Opts: errors=remount-ro
My system has been up since October 22, but what is weird is that I can't seem to find any logs that show that I have unmounted or mounted anything since then (which crontab is supposed to do at 5am every day). Maybe I am still not looking at the right logs or maybe my crontab is set up incorrectly? Here it is below:
Code:
00 05 * * * umount /mnt/virtual
01 05 * * * mhddfs /media/one,/media/two,/media/five /mnt/virtual -o allow_other
00 05 * * * umount /mnt/bak-virtual
01 05 * * * mhddfs /media/three,/media/four,/media/six /mnt/bak-virtual -o allow_other
02 05 * * * rsync -a --progress /mnt/virtual/ /mnt/bak-virtual
