Hello,

My name is Jeff Romero I have been trying to figure out how to get rid of this error when I'm trying to get jav from synaptic manager here is what I get.

Looks like an internet connection problem to me. The addresses are good. (At least, the first one is...)

You can try to change the server to main.

From Ubuntu Software Center , click Edit and then Software sources and at the opened window see at
"Download From" . Change it to main
or
you can wait a little.

I have been trying to get some software and I have been getting a lot of error trying to download from the software center this is one of the errors I have gotten if you can help me with this issue I would be greatful.

Looks to me like you are trying to use a proxy with apt - is that the case?

Are you using a proxy of some kind? If so, you might wish to (temporarily) disable it. The IP addresses I'm seeing are for your local network.
