    Vuze not searching

I've recently installed Ubuntu 12.10 32bit and I can't get vuze to search

I've tried the one in the software centre, and also downloaded the latest version from the vuze website.

The java version is 1.7.0_07 and appears to be working ok in that I get the little vuze applet that comes up when you first start it. I could possibly have other versions of java installed as I have been doing a lot of playing around...

I've opened the 48227 port on my router firewall and pointed it to my fixed ip for the computer.

I'm a bit lost to be honest, so if u need any info from me to help determine the problem then am happy to provide.

    Many thanks

    Re: Vuze not searching

after installing java by running this:

    sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jre icedtea-7-plugin

    it now works.
