    12.04 ... Just installed theme

I just installed theme #11 Ice Cream GTK with the following command:

    sudo apt-get install ice-cream-theme

    gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme 'Ice-Cream-GTK'
    gconftool-2 --set --type string /apps/metacity/general/theme 'Ice-Cream-GTK'
as the following URL stated http://www.upubuntu.com/2012/07/a-li...04-themes.html
But after the first line, I've got this:

    czgirb@czgirb:~$ sudo apt-get install ice-cream-theme
    [sudo] password for czgirb:
    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package ice-cream-theme
    czgirb@czgirb:~$
The 2-nd line ... no response at all

Is there someone willing to guide me?
    Please

Read the page properly from the top, you've missed out the first 2 commands:
    Code:
    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:upubuntu-com/gtk3
    sudo apt-get update
    Cheesemill

E: Unable to locate package ice-cream-theme
The top of the page you linked mentioned that the themes were in a PPA. Did you add that PPA?

    Code:
    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:upubuntu-com/gtk3
    sudo apt-get update
    If you're using 12.10, that's changed slightly

Found that ... retry ... but in 2nd line, there is nothing.
Is it "sudo ..." still needed to be added before gsetting?
    Please guide me ...

Try going to System Settings>Appearance and see if this Ice Cream theme is available.

Re: 12.04 ... Just installed theme

Only official themes will be displayed in appearance settings. To activate the theme use the Gnome Tweak Tool or Ubuntu Tweak.

I read that Gnome didn't set up Appearance Preferences to handle unofficial themes because they felt the quality of most themes was sub par.
