I cannot access my NAS anymore

I have a Synology NAS with a "Windows" share configured. When I click "Browse Network" => "Windows Network" in Nautilus, all I get is:

    "Unable to mount location

Failed to retrieve share list from server
    "

Note: This has worked 100% fine before, and I HAVEN'T CHANGED ANYTHING.

    Any ideas?

Re: I cannot access my NAS anymore

Solved. I (re)configured the Windows share in Nautilus. I still don't understand why Nautilus doesn't detect my Synology anymore. I had to configure the share directly. I swear that previously "Browse Network" always detected my Synology without any special share/server settings in Nautilus.

    Hi Juzzlin,

What exactly did you do and has it held? I've got two Ubuntu machines (12.04 and 12.10) and i can rarely see the NAS in the 'Browse Network' Nautilus view.

It worked once or twice, i don't know why. I it mostly doesn't work.

I can manually connect to the shares/ping the NAS.

    Thanks.
