    libfftw3 library trouble..

a few days ago i install this game called dangerdeep
    it worked then,

but now it does not, it wanted a bunch of different 32bit libSDL libraries which i installed without problems, but now it wants a 32bit libfftw3f which when i tried to install said i needed to uninstall blender, gimp, and a few other things that i had installed long before all this...

i did install the x86_64 version,
    i'm running 12.04 LTS 64bit,
and the only thing that i found in history that were installed since then is KDE..

    all help much appreciated..

    EDIT:

installed with the installer found here: http://dangerdeep.sourceforge.net/downloads/

    EDIT 2:
just tried the '"file" command on the executable
    in /usr/games/
    returned:
    Code:
ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.1, stripped
would anyone know why this is 32bit, where i can find the 64bit version, and why it worked before?
    i'm really confused now..

    all help appreciated..
