    ok bump

    i try to install alsaequal again, but again nothing happen when i use equalizer in alsamixer or alsamixergui
    Code:
    naike@Naike-Linux:~$ aplay -l
    **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
    card 0: Generic [HD-Audio Generic], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
      Subdevices: 1/1
      Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
    card 1: ST [Xonar ST], device 0: Multichannel [Multichannel]
      Subdevices: 0/1
      Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
    card 1: ST [Xonar ST], device 1: Digital [Digital]
      Subdevices: 1/1
      Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
    hmm something is wrong, how do i select analog output? i dont want digital or multichannel, i ned analog (for headphone and speker)
    how i add this to list? linux should really invest to get beter driver....

    this is my asoundrc file
    Code:
    ctl.equal {
      type equal;
    }

    pcm.plugequal {
      type equal;
      # Modify the line below if you don't
      # want to use sound card 0.
      slave.pcm "plughw:1,0";
      # or if you want to use with multiple applications output to dmix
      # slave.pcm "plug:dmix"
    }

    pcm.equal {
      # Or if you want the equalizer to be your
      # default soundcard uncomment the following
      # line and comment the above line.
    # pcm.!default {
      type plug;
      slave.pcm plugequal;
    }

    See the first link about using the Pulse Audio Equalizer in Kubuntu . The second link is for using the Alsaequal plug-in . Make sure you have the correct version of the PAEQ if you decide to try it.
