I've searched a lot to find some Ubuntu-based games, but couldn't. (Those available in AppStore are worthless! )
Can you suggest some?

Asus K55A (Core i5-3210M @ 2.5GHz/8GB RAM/120GB SSD/Intel HD 4000) with Ubuntu 12.10 Beta 2
Compaq Presario C700 (Pentium Dual-Core @ 1.6GHz/2.5GB RAM/500GB HDD/Intel GM965) with Arch Linux and Linux Mint Debian Edition
There are lots of great games for Ubuntu. There are quite a few in the app store, but they may be hard to find.
Keep an eye on http://humblebundle.com for when they release a new pack, you can pay whatever you like and 99% of the games are Linux compatible.
Furthermore, head over to http://www.playdeb.net/welcome/ and add their repository to your system. You can then browse the website and add games to your PC by clicking the links on the website.
Good luck!

Few of the commercial (for-purchase) games available on 12.04 have moved over to 12.10 yet, since 12.10 doesn't officially launch until the 18th. Give it another week or so, and you'll see some high quality games in the Ubuntu Software Center that you'll be able to buy.

I'm a big fan of the game Trine. you should look it up. it has a native linux client as well but its not free. well worth the money though.
Look also at http://www.desura.com, this is digital distribution platform similar to Steam with over 100 native games
The commercial games have now hit the Ubuntu Software Center in 12.10. You should check again.
