Your internal uses ath9k. I wonder what didn't work so well with it. ath9k is usually solid.

If you want to disable the internal, please do:
    Code:
    sudo su
    echo "blacklist ath9k" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
    exit
    Reboot and show me:
    Code:
    iwconfig
    dmesg | grep ndis

    Code:
    iwconfig

    eth0 no wireless extensions.
    Code:
    dmesg | grep ndis
    [ 19.188452] ndiswrapper version 1.57 loaded (smp=yes, preempt=no)

Re: AirLive WL 1600 USB - problem

Something is very wrong. There is not any clue in dmesg about what's going on. Let's create a diagnostic file I can examine for more information:
    Code:
    ls /etc/ndiswrapper/netrtuw_x64 > vandamir.txt
    cat /etc/ndiswrapper/netrtuw_x64/netrtuw_x64.inf | head -n20 >> vandamir.txt
    lsmod >> vandamir.txt
    dmesg >> vandamir.txt
    zip vandamir.zip vandamir.txt
Please find the file vandamir.zip in your user directory and attach it to your reply using the paperclip tool at the top of the reply box.

Are you sure you wouldn't like to troubleshoot the ath9k internal device???

I mean that you have an internal wireless device using the now blacklisted ath9k. Why isn't it working for you? Wouldn't it be far easier to troubleshoot it than to try to coax ndiswrapper to work your USB device?

    I see this:
    [ 0.259741] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKA] (IRQs 4 7 10 11 12 14 15) *0, disabled.
    [ 0.259793] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKB] (IRQs 4 7 10 11 12 14 15) *0, disabled.
    [ 0.259842] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKC] (IRQs 4 7 10 11 12 14 15) *0, disabled.
    [ 0.259892] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKD] (IRQs 4 7 10 11 12 14 15) *0, disabled.
    [ 0.259941] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKE] (IRQs 4 7 10 11 12 14 15) *0, disabled.
    [ 0.259988] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKF] (IRQs 4 7 10 11 12 14 15) *0, disabled.
    [ 0.260069] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKG] (IRQs 10 11 12 14 15) *0, disabled.
    [ 0.260119] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKH] (IRQs 4 7 10 11 12 14 15) *0, disabled.
That suggests that all the IRQs are set to disabled. I suggest you reset the BIOS to defaults, reboot and see if things improve:
    Code:
    dmesg > vandamir2.txt
    zip vandamir2.zip vandamir2.txt
"Oh, Ubuntu, you are my favorite Linux-based operating system" --Dr. Sheldon Cooper, B.Sc., M.Sc., M.A., Ph.D., Sc.D.

I think that IRQs are disabled because of my second graphic card which is in my laptop and this card is turned off.
But if it's necessary I can reset BIOS.

I'd certainly try. You can always revert if the graphics won't work.

    I don't see much change.

Is this in a virtual machine? Wireless networking is generally not possible.
