Thank! Is it possible to start clean? To start from scratch driver clean then driver install followed reboot?

The first thing I'd try is to delete all your access point-specific settings in NM and reboot. Let NM find MFGT1 fresh and try to connect:

sudo rm -rf /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/*

The command sequence 'rm -rf' removes forcefully and permanently and is dangerous. Proofread carefully, as I am doing, before you press Enter.

Reboot and let us hear your report.

After reboot i saw that promising words on top right corner "Wireless Networks Available" and i was thinking this is it we finally got this to surrender. But refreshed and refreshed and came back to wireless network disconnected you are now offline, bummer!

And it did or did not ask for your WEP key? It will help me to get details as to the behavior when you reply.

Thanks, yes it did ask for web key and the wifi symbol link refreshed and refreshed few times and came back disconnected.

it is stil the same as you have posted. Yes it is wep. I checked my laptop which connects to the network and the settings were wep 40/128 bit-key......

How can i delete the driver? Then maybe redownload and start fresh not that it will fix or not but it is worth a try.
