    To print the SHA1 of a message on browser

    i want to print the SHA1 of any given message using CGI programming in c on web browser.Can anyone please help me??

    Yes, you can do that. First things first though, have you got a working Apache installation? If not, run this command:

    sudo apt-get install apache2
    then head (in your webbrowser) to http://localhost and see if anything shows up.

    Why C? PHP would be more suited to the task IMO, and I think it even has a sha1() function.
