I've been trying to install both World of Warcraft and League of Legends using Wine to no avail. My WoW tutorial has been lost after I decided to downgrade from the 64 bit OS to the 32 bit OS (I am using Ubuntu 12.04 LTS btw), so let's concentrate on League first.
I was following http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/sho … ?t=1946188 as my tutorial for setting up League. I do not have a pre-existing game install, and I am not able to find one anywhere that I have looked; however, the main concern is that nothing happens when I double-click the LoL install client. I get a loading icon and Wine never loads up. I have followed all the instructions on the tutorial up to step 4, and I even created the folder like Step 4 indicates (Just don't have a pre-existing install to move over).
This is my first time with Linux, and I really do want to be able to switch from windows. I really would like to be able to play a game of some sort on my machine by the end of the day.
