Dash: Sorry, there is nothing that matches your search

    What new wizardry is this?

In my /home there is a folder named Music, inside which I have my music sorted by artist.
F.e. this: ~/Music/Led Zeppelin/Presence inside which you will find all the songs from the said album in .mp3 format.

When I try to search for a song in the Dash search (any scope you like, all, files, music) I get the Sorry answer.
This happens only to music, when I search for "DSC" I neatly get all of the 200 pictures in my Ubuntu one folder.

P.S. I just did a little testing - it doesn't find some of the text files in my Ubuntu one folder.
What is happening here? Filters are set to "all". It is very selective of what it finds.

I think you need to import your music into rhythmbox first (or any other player that offers zeitgeist integration either by default or with a plugin, e.g. Banshee.)

    Hope that helps.

    It's imported into Clementine.

However, shouldn't it list those files when in scope "all files"? They are just files in folders. And it doesn't explain why it doesn't show some text files in Ubuntu one folder.
