Ugrade to 12.10 - problems on rebooting

    Hi.

I just upgraded my Kubuntu 12.04 to 12.10 Beta 2, by follwing this instructions.

But now, when rebooting, I find myself with a blah screen saying

    Starting System V runlevel compatibility
    Starting
Before I tried to reboot and it also said something like
    stopping mount network filesystem
    The it freezes.

    What shall I do?

    Thanks

Well, now it boots but with a CLI. Less bad, but still have no GUI.

    I tried
    Code:
    sudo su lightdm
it began something but then it stopped at

    Stopping anac(h)romistic cron
    (somethig I can't read); edit /etc/default/saned
