What to do if a healthy debate is lost because of user intervention ?

Hi Please look at the following thread:

The best 5 new features in Gnome Files 3.6

I don't think it's alright for a user to interrupt a good debate, when the debate can be productive, and quote the CoC, it should be an admins privilege and the user should be notified about 'taking the role of an admin'

Please post your thoughts on the subject.
Thanks to KiwiNZ for patience and directing me to the correct forum.

I moved the thread back to U+1, and reopened it, with a note. The incident should have been reported, instead of trying to deal with it in the thread.

I agree with my esteemed colleague. When threads go south you can use the report system or appeal here, trying to deal with it in the thread concerned will usually escalate the situation out of hand and fracture the Code of conduct.

I also support the reopening of said thread.
