Since 12.10 is still in beta, it's not surprising that the "for purchase" repositories haven't been opened yet. I assume this will be resolved by October 18.

I can confirm, the random crashing when changing levels in Torchlight is fixed in today's release for me. Woohoo!

Did they end up adding multiplayer support for Torchlight?
No, but Torchlight II does have multiplayer support. For Windows.

I have installed a fresh install of ubuntu 12.04 and have absolutely no sound in spaz, torchlight and shatter. Anyone experiencing same issue with these games?

Nope, but if you're using the AMD64 version, try installing ia32-libs. I find that often solves many problems on fresh installs.

    Re: Humble indie bundle 6

    Hello guys!

I'm new to this all Ubuntu world
just regarding to this topic, can someone please explain me better what is this Humble indie Bundle thing?

is it like steam where you can buy/download games to the system?
does it have only these 6 games? will it have more? will next games be free or paid like steam?

this Humble bundle software is it like a steam (even though steam is no on ubunto YET ) competitor?

    best regards

It's a bundle of games, offered for whatever you want to pay, offered for a limited time. The best thing you can do is go to the site and read about it yourself.

Torchlight 2012-09-20 version fixed portal crashes but player avatar is still faceless. Installer would crash (segrault) unless previous version (2012-09-18) was uninstalled first.

The faceless characters issue has been recognized, and is being worked on. From the Humble Indie Bundle 6 FAQ:

    Q:
Help! My Torchlight character's face is missing!
    A:
This is a known issue with Torchlight on Linux that should hopefully be patched out soon. Once the issue is solved, the updated version of your game will be made available on your download page.
