    Peer-to-Peer RF Messaging a possibility?

    18 mile (30 kilometer) range on bluetooth adapter. Will this provide the perfect platform for p2p messaging over RF?

    EDIT:
    Linux supports bluetooth natively. Python supports bluetooth coding. 18 miles/30 kilometers is a great distance for communiactions.
