Question How to erase DVD RW in Ubuntu?

I may be stupid, but is there any way to erase the contents of a DVD RW disc? I do not see a way in the CD Creator app. I have also read the docs on Ubuntu.com and I cannot find any mention of it.

I have tried selecting all the content in Nautilus and both dragging it to the Trash Can and pressing the Delete key, but nothing happens.

Do I just have to take the disc to Win XP and use Nero?

    Thanks,
    Tim

Go to Applications > Sound and Video > Brazero > Tools tab > Erase

Thumbs up Re: How to erase DVD RW in Ubuntu?

Thank you, Grenage. The format command worked.
