How can I search for foo.bar in folder /xyz/ and subfolders in our webhost?

    Hello,

We have a webhost/domain/website mywebsite.com. We are able to add/delete/rename files using filezilla.

We are trying to find a file foo.bar on our domain. How can I make my computer search for the file on the remote server of ours?

I tried manually peeking through several folders and subfolders but gave up.

    Thank you.

Filezilla is a FTP client, so apparently you have FTP access. Right?
I don't know Filezilla, but you have checked that Filezilla has no search option.

Nautilus: Nautilus can mount a FTP site. So do that. Then use the search in Nautilus to find your file on the remote FTP site.

    I found the file.
In Filezilla, press F3 or, on the toolbar, go to Server/Search remote files....
