Re: Add 'intelligent' groups to the Ubuntu Unity launch bar

I like this. It has the potential to save users a lot of time, and I like that the running application doesn't stay inside the group as it would in a subdock.

There should definitely be the option of user-defined groups, but as a secondary feature after the automatic "intelligent" method.
I know I shouldn't use tildes for decoration, but they always make me feel at home~

Re: Add 'intelligent' groups to the Ubuntu Unity launch bar

    Hi,

This is exactly what I was looking for.
Idea #27316 is marked as implemented in Ubuntu 11.04 but I can't find the way to add a group of programs to the launcher...

What do I do to get this working?

    Regards.

You can't, really. You could use a quicklist, though - just search for "Unity Quicklist."

    Indeed,

I figured it out just before you replied.

This post got me started with creating my own quicklists.

    Regards.

Why does brainstorm mark this as "implemented" if it isn't?
