    Meerkat Ion NetTop Gone

So I've been looking into get the NetTop for myself and my wife. I saw it was up with an available ETA of 8/30. Then this switched to 9/16, and now it's totally gone from the product listings. Is the product cancelled? I don't mind waiting to get it, but I don't want to wait for something that is never coming!

We have discontinued it, and we don't have a replacement right now. I'm not sure if we'll have one.

I too am very interested in the Ion. Perhaps there's someone out there selling used ones, because my Robotics team "needs" about twenty of them.

ZaReason has also discontinued its Intel Atom line. However, a large choice of Atom based computers is available from manufacturers of industrial control systems. There's a choice of CPUs (Atoms, i3/i5/i7, AMD), hard disk drives or solid state drives, Intel or Nvidia graphics, ruggedized or not, fanless or not, watertight or not, Linux or Windows, and so on. Two such suppliers are http://www.logicsupply.com/ and http://www.mitxpc.com/ . I have no actual experience dealing with them, I just remember them from my web browsing. Have a look.
