Well, you are connected to something! What or where is the ethernet cable plugged in to?? I am puzzled by the 10.10.xx address when the wireless has a 88.118.xx address. I wonder if your router or access point is mis-configured.

Today i tried to connect at my home. And everything works like a charm. So i guess at my office there was something wrong with configuration... I'll try harder

    Anyway, thanks for response!

P.S. Wifi had different ip because it was at different place.

Re: Lenovo G480 / Atheros AR8162 woes: unable to initiate wired/dsl

I tried to follow this command

    tar -xvf compat-wireless-2012-02-28-p.tar
    cd compat-wireless-2012-02-28-p
    scripts/driver-select alx
    make
    make install
    modprobe alx

while using compat-wireless-2012-09-01-pc.tar.bz2 instead but it have error
when i try to use "modprobe alx" it like they don't have alx command anymore like in the post said
so i don't know what to do next

When you run a command and nothing happens, it means that the command was executed as requested and there are no errors or warnings to report.

Are you using Network Manager to connect? Are there any settings in there you've added? Usually, NM will handle all details for you without any extra settings.

    Please run and post:
    Code:
    nm-tool
Let's see what's going on behind the scenes.
