Rhythmbox unable to parse?

Hey everyone,
I am trying to listen to some podcasts using rhythmbox 2.96 on Ubuntu 12.04 and I can't get a single one to load. The picture shows one of the error messages I am getting. The other one asks me to verify that it is a real podcast URL and would I like to add the feed anyway. Both seem to say that the feeds couldn't be parsed. If anybody knows a fix for this it would be greatly appreciated.

None of the 40 or so feeds I have tried have worked, and all the posts I could find on this subject seem to be a year + old and unsolved.

If anybody knows of a thread anywhere that would point to a solution that would be great also.
