Remove yellow banner on removable media prompting to open image or audio players.

    Hello,

I could not find any answer to my question:

Since a picture says more than words:
Even though this shows mint, it is the exact same on my ubuntu netbook which is the main reason for my inquiry.

How to get rid of the yellow banner?
This is linux mint, and is not really a big issue, since this is my desktop pc. However, on my ubuntu netbook, it drives me crazy because it takes up so much space on the screen. I did not find any way to disable the yellow overlay.
    Any pointers? Thanks.

I searched the net and found similar Questions, all threads ended without solutions.
Especially nice was one comment on the wording: "This drive contains digital images."
Like what else did you expect on a computer? Analog imagery?
Please no answers prompting to turn of actions on media insertion. Already done.

Why? Just because this shows mint? The main issue is with ubuntu though...
