    software properties pop up message

Hello there, this one seems simple but so far nobody has managed to help me. I am running gnome-shell 3.4. I have the software-properties-gtk package installed as well as synaptic package manager. When i was editing my sources.list with software properties gtk i was getting the message " repositories have changed click reload button". Then i ticked on the "do not show this message again" box and the message is gone. Is there any way of getting this message back? I have purged-unistalled python-software-properties, software-properties-gtk software-properties-common but the message is still missing. Thank you in advance
