Can't right click on IdeaPad z580 trackpad in Precise, can in Quantal alpha

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad z580. Everything works fine except for the trackpad. Lenovo calls it an intelligent touchpad. It has the buttons integrated with the trackpad itself. In Ubuntu / Kubuntu / Xubuntu 12.04, I can only left click. Yes, I tried all three. No matter where or how I click, it always registers as a left click.

The weird thing, though, is that I upgraded to 12.10 alpha 3 for giggles. When I did, the trackpad works perfectly and I can right-click as much as I want. Unfortunately, 12.10 is still far to unstable for me to continue to use.

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this? I'd really like to keep using Ubuntu 12.04.

Hey so you can right click, but, you must use the two-finger click. No right-click though

The same problem here though on Y580.
I didn't tried the 12.10 but I expect the result will be the same.

Also can you specify what exactly do you mean that the touchpad works perfectly under 12.10? Does it mean that it has scrolling on two fingers and other features that are working under Win?

BTW thanks a lot for the two finger touch thing I didn't know that and it works.

Knows anybody how to add a module from 12.10 that respone with touchpad to ubuntu 12.04?

Mayby updating kernel can help ?
