    shotwell

    ubu 12.04 with gnome
    how do I get shotwell to simply copy photos to another desktop folder..??? I dont see any feature for this in Shotwell...
    but I like the program..

    Hi,

    I'm not sure that it is possible. In fact Shotwell maintains its own database and does not really manipulate the picture files in your folder.

    You can try the export function, see if it does what you want.

    Select the photos you want to export, then:

    File > Export

    Select [unmodified], and then you'll be able to select a folder to export it to.

    Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by "copy to a desktop folder." Could you elaborate?
